Artist Mali Regan has been painting since she was 15 years old. Her first teacher was Maestro Fakour. She continued her art until she was married and had family.

She went on to have successful career in Finance. In 2005 she  took early retirement from Delta, where she was a senior analyst in treasury department.

In 2012 she started painting again. She studied with Chris Didomizio. She has had privilege of taking mentoring classes from renowned artist, James Richards.She also took workshops with nationally known artist, James Richards, Nancy Franke Bill Davidson, Barbara Jaenicke, Jon Lasater and John Barry Raybould, the latter of whom took classes in Italy.

Mali is a member of the Atlanta Artist Center, which has awarded her accolades. Her specialty is oil painting, both landscape and portrait and her biggest influences are impressionist artist, Renior, John Singer Sargent and Monet. She enjoys plein air painting.

Mali loves traveling around the world and uses her own photographs for her paintings or plein air when possible.

Mali’s painting were exhibited at Atlanta Artist Gallery, Quinlan Visual Art, Buckhead Library, Anis Bistro, James Richards Gallery, Arts Gallery in Marietta, Atlanta Expo Center, and her website, maliregan.com.  

Mali has two kids and two grandkids. She makes sure to have time for them and for her painting. As she always says, painting keeps her sane, happy and her mind busy.
